With that in mind, take a look at the image on the right. These are some of my blog’s Google UK search results for terms that relate to local search terms like “web design Sussex” You have to ask yourself, why is an ex plasterer beating all of these web designers?
The answer is simple. It’s because they are designers, they are interested in and good at design.
Let’s not take anything away from these people. They are extremely talented and play a very important role in a websites success. I just think that from a small business owners point of view, design is not the first priority. Traffic is. Because traffic brings business and business brings revenue. When you have traffic, you can invest in design with the confidence that it will convert even more of your traffic into business.
It’s All Common Sense
From my side of the fence, it’s all just common sense now but I haven’t forgotten how daunting it is on the other side. I made sure that you don’t have to take any risks because I have been on your side.
This isn’t a trap! Free web hosting that leaves you unable to move your website is a trap. Small Business Website Club will not be for everyone!
